Meet Shannan
Products and experiences designed for the way we work, live, and lead.
Shannan Slevin creates thoughtful brands, products, programs, and experiences rooted in one simple belief: well-being shapes how we work, live, and lead.
Over the past 15+ years, she has partnered with organizations including Adobe, Athleta, Jim Beam, Kaiser Permanente, Martha Stewart, Pandora, and Vistage, designing workplace wellness initiatives, leadership experiences, and programs that help people and organizations thrive. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Yoga Journal, Time Out, and 7x7 Magazine.
Her career spans workplace well-being, leadership development, consumer products, and brand building, guided by the belief that the systems shaping our everyday lives also shape how we think, feel, connect, and perform.
Drawing from a background in communications, technology sales, and integrative wellness, Shannan brings together business strategy, behavioral science, and human-centered design to create experiences that are both practical and enduring.
For more than 15 years, she has studied and taught movement, mindfulness, nutrition, and nervous system regulation—translating evidence-informed practices into everyday tools that support healthier ways of working, living, and leading.
Today, she is the Co-Founder and CEO of Civil Doody™, an eco-forward consumer brand that transforms an everyday ritual through thoughtful design, philosophy, and sustainability. Alongside Civil Doody, she develops leadership programs, workplace experiences, and educational platforms that help individuals and organizations build more resilient, intentional, and sustainable ways of working.
A fifth-generation Californian with Irish and Portuguese roots, Shannan draws inspiration from a globally mobile lifestyle and a lifelong curiosity about culture, philosophy, and human behavior.
Whether creating consumer brands, leadership experiences, or educational platforms, her work explores how well-being can become the foundation for stronger organizations, more meaningful products, and lives lived with greater intention.
“Shannan’s work is absolutely exceptional! I am not the type of person who does yoga, meditates, does breathing exercises, etc., so her work was foreign to me. Needless to say, I was a bit skeptical. However, after participating in a few sessions with her, I realized that her work has immense power. Her ability to connect with skeptical audiences (aka me) and help them become more productive, present, and purposeful during the work day is an incredible value. Every manager and leader should speak with Shannan to figure out how their teams and employees can benefit from partnering with her.”
